Please note the following update with regard to our building in accordance to new Public Health Orders effective Dec 20th and Dec 22. We will continue to advise if further restrictions are introduced.
There are NO CHANGES to our current Sunday Worship Service requirements at this time, which includes mandatory masking. We continue to operate at 50% capacity as we have chosen against asking for Proof of Vaccination for services. As we are not implementing pre-service registration, this introduces the possibility that a service will be full upon your arrival. If this poses a concern, we invite you to join us online instead.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED (AGE 5 AND UP) TO ACCESS THE BUILDING AND MUST REMAIN ON AT ALL TIMES, COVERING YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH. This will be enforced by our staff and volunteers at the door and we greatly appreciate your cooperation to avoid an uncomfortable situation. During services masks may only be removed to partake of communion and after-service coffee. Masks will be provided at the door if you need one.
We acknowledge that masks are uncomfortable at best, and for many they cause real physical challenges. Thank you for assisting us in upholding our responsibility to protect all who enter our building by wearing your mask onsite or choosing to join us online. NAC desires to be fully compliant with Public Health Orders to continue to send a loving message and witness to our community as representatives of Christ who want to be “inviting people to follow Jesus.” Although less important than our witness, please be aware that non-compliance could mean incurring fines for civil disobedience - certainly a poor use of our funds.
All other indoor gatherings/events of any size are prohibited as of Wednesday, December 22. Unless we are told otherwise in subsequent announcements, this includes any groups meeting at the church building. This Order is in place until January 18th, and when it is lifted, Proof of Vaccination will be mandatory for indoor groups/events to resume until at least January 31, 2022. (Sunday services not included at this time) Information on using the phone app for verification will be available for group leaders from the church office.
Thank you again for your love, your understanding, and your prayers as we navigate this difficult time.
