It's cold out there. And this February, our team is going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, we're walking and fundraising to support and serve people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community.
Pastor Paul, the elders, and the staff of NAC are inviting the congregation to join us! Before the event, we will meet at the church and carpool downtown where the event is held. Following the walk we will return to the church building for a soup dinner. There is food offered onsite by the organizers of the event, but in an effort to encourage fellowship (and avoid the lines and busyness), NAC is organizing something a little quieter and at “home”.
Our team will be walking on behalf of Island Crisis Care Society (ICCS), an agency we have partnered with for many years. You can read more about ICCS here. We'd love to have you join us (button below), or consider giving a donation toward our efforts. Invitations to people outside the congregation are heartily encouraged!
